Erica Curtis is co-author with Ping Ho of the award-winning book "The Innovative Parent: Raising Connected, Happy, Successful Kids through Art." She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Art Therapist. Erica is core faculty and curriculum developer for UCLArts & Healing and consultant for The Board of Behavioral Sciences, The Foundation for Art & Healing, and the Art Therapy department at Loyola Marymount University. Erica is an internationally sought speaker and has been cited in over 100 media outlets as an expert on creative approaches to emotional and relationship health. Erica has a psychotherapy practice in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
In this episode Erica shares effective creative methods for working with resistance. She shares how she has used them at home in her own parenting and how she teaches the parents to do the same.
