Episode 12 | Deanna Barton | Tele-Art Therapy, Art Kits, and Beyond
March 25, 2020
It is a delight to introduce my next guest, art therapist Deanna Barton. She is the owner of Artspiration, LLC. She speaks candidly about offering online art therapy services and includes how she has made tele-art therapy work for her without shying away from the nitty-gritty about what strategies benefit her business as well as her clients. She is also very forthcoming about what hasn't worked and using that information to guide a pivot in her business. She details how she arrived at the decision to discontinue a product she invested time and money in as well as her plans for future products. There is so much to learn from her experience that can be applied to our current global social climate.
Also, if you are interested in signing up for a tele-therapy service, we have a blog post about what you will need to consider. If you are considering tele-health, check out doxy.me
here. It offers a basic free, or upgraded paid, HIPAA complaint platform for video conferencing. I have been using it in my personal practice successfully for 5 years. My clients and I both find it super easy to use. Thanks for your support!
